I second that: I have had a LiteOn LW411s for about two years now, never
made a coaster. I just bought dual-layer LiteOn SOHW1366S a few of weeks
ago (the price was irresistible on NewEgg..), burned about twenty or so
CD and DVD's without a coaster. Even though I usually use the -R for
DVD's (one of my players is picky), never had any problems with any
format yet.
And it is true that the flash utilities are for Windooze only: so don't
clean that "C:\" drive just yet!
