"2.6.8.1" <> "2.6.8.1-i686", so you either need to recompile your kernel
with stock 2.6.8.1 sources (recommended), or recompile kqemu.ko against
Ubuntu-patched sources. If you're going to recompile the kernel, why not go
ahead and upgrade at the same time? It's no more work.
