[SLUG] Fedora Core 3 won't install PHP-MySQL

I'm sure there is a simple answer that I'm overlooking...

On Fedora Core 3, I have Apache, PHP and MySQL running just fine. But I am
unable to install "php-mysql" - which is the module that allows PHP to
connect to MySQL. I have it running just fine on my SuSE box, but FC3
remains a challenge.

When I try to install php-mysql, I get this error:

  Packages not found:
The following packages could not be found on your system.
Installation cannot continue until they are installed.
  Unlocatable package: Required by:
         php ('php-pear', '4.3.10', '3.2')
         php ('php-ldap', '4.3.10', '3.2')

Surely, I am overlooking something simple. I have PHP scripts that run
fine, so I know PHP is there and works. MySQL runs fine. I have not found
anything on Google that appears to apply to this, so I don't believe it's a
bug. So, what am I missing here?

I *believe* I have the SuSE box and FC3 box configured almost identical,
other than the lack of php-mysql. In each case I install the apps from the
vendor's CD and updated over the net. I did _not_ compile from source or
install from a site other then SuSE or Fedora. I do have "mod_pearl"
installed, but I'm not running ldap.

Suggestions?
