Yes, adding myself to the uucp group now allows me to use /dev/ttyS0
without modifying perms. I see plenty of mentions on
the /etc/security/console.perm file of <pilot> but after reboot, pilot
is not automatically created.
As is, now that I'm in uucp, I can configure evolution to
use /dev/ttyS0. However, I would prefer to have /dev/pilot created and
use it instead for use with pilot-link utilities.
What actually should create /dev/pilot? Looks like they planned for it
to be there.
