Dear Fellow SLUG Memebers,

I am looking for a full/part time employment in the Tampa Bay area as
a linux sysadmin.

I have been working with linux for over 8 yrs. Worked with Debian,
Redhat, Suse and friends...

The letter soup:

TCP/IP, QoS, IPSec (FreeSWAN, OpenSWAN, X.509 Certs, Net Traversal
Win2k, Cisco) L2TP, PPP, CIPE, Stunnel, OpenVPN, SELinux, Snort,
Honeypots , CIFS, SAMBA, OpenLDAP, CUPS, NIS/NIS+, MySQL, PostgreSQL,
NFS, DRBD, LVM, SAN, PXE, SYSLINUX, TFTP, DHCP, DNS, SSH, SFTP with
chrooted SSH, Postfix, DBMail, IMAP Proxy PHP, Apache, WebDAV,
WebDav2SMB, SpamAssassin, Dspam, Squid, OpenMosix, OpenSSI, OpenAFS,
OpenGFS, UML, LTSP, VMWare, Qemu, CoLinux, Xeno, Snort, Webmin, ssh,
tripwire, Cygwin, GNUWin32, Rsync

I worked for smaller (up to 100 employes) companies.

Things I provided:

Samba servers with OpenLDAP backend, on-access virus scanning with
ClamAV and SambaVFS. Some work with combining Samba Kerberos and
OpenAFS and roaming profiles.

VPN servers using IPSec (with certificates, and without, connecting
commertial/home routers to it and windows clients as well with ipsec
over L2TP), MS VPN server (POPTOP MSCHAP2 integration with Samba LDAP
and Radius) implementation using linux.

Transparent proxys using squid, and all kinds of filtering (add
zapper, ClamAV, content).

IDS/IPS with Snort, Apache, MySQL, PHP, and ACID, string matching and
routing. Implemented not only for WAN but for VPN users as well (so
that infected VPN users could not infect the networks). Created
proof-of-concept filtering virtual switch using firewalls/ipsec vpns
from lan clients to servers (all is firewalled on lan except IPsec,
all traffic takes place over IPSec. All traffic is channeled through a
linux box that washes ip traffic off malicious content by filtering
it. Basically an Cisco Catalist IDS in software)

Multi domain setup with Apache, Postfix, user acocunts in LDAP,SQL.

Storage solutions with LVM on RAID, DRDB, iSCSI implementation (target
a.k.a server as well) using linux.

Terminal services, using both Linux and Windows as terminal servers,
TFTP and PXE for dumb (discless) clients.

Experience with creating repositories, costum distros.

Probably there things I have left out.

If you need more detail send me an email to zoltanpatay@gmail.com

Thanks,

Zoltan Patay
