There was a project a while back to do encrypted filesystems. You could
probably rig it to look to the SD card for the decryption key. There are
limitations, but search on "Linux encrypted filesystem" for a FAQ. Root
and swap are not encryptable, but a loopback mounted encrypted
filesystem or an encrypted partition should work.
