Personal? I purchased copies of Professional for our servers. And it has
done a fine job.
The resource kit is a nice bit of work. But the previous version was nicer
in that it contained installable versions. Even Microsoft will give you a
180-day version of their server software for evaluation.
I know I can download SuSE 9.3, and I might someday. I'm just saying that
it seems odd that they removed something of value from the kit. I'm certain
that someone at Novell thought that the kit might cost a sale or two, but in
my case it didn't _help_ make a sale.
Thanks to Novell for the kit. It remains a good idea, and I do plan to
continue looking through it.

Running a business on SUSE Personal is like playing with fire...you will get
burned by not having a support infrastructure in place. Don't get me wrong -
this code is what SLES is built from, however SUSE Personal is not supported
and has a 6 month lifecycle. SLES is fully supported by a huge ecosystem and
it's lifecycle is up to 7 years now.
The Technical resource kit is just that...a resource kit.

away!
