A little late for me. If I had known about this on Monday when I gave
my savings money to the red cross because I knew that there was no way
even at a very strong Cat 4 hurricane that anything would really be
left standing ( like Andrew) I gave ahead of time knowing what kind
of destruction this storm would bring.
But I do urge everyone to give. I know you probably have heard this
1000 times already on radio and tv and on the net, give what ever you
can. Though I hope that the ones who qualify to be part of America's
upper 1% will start coming out with the large dollar amounts. Called
unfortnatley some of America's richest people are Americas biggest
tightwads when it comes to charity. ( And before anyone says it I dont
mean Bill Gates, as his and his wife's foundation have dumped billions
of dollars into charities)
