Hey Pete,

Yep, have used Omnis since 2002. Very satisified. Think I remember
them being down once or twice for 2 hours, when I had a continuous
monitoring system up. Rock solid, IMHO. They have quite a few reviews
on their intro page. Review links might turn up some results on the
other hosting provider you where looking at. Good technical support
responses.

Also, I use http://doorhost.net/ They are significantly less expensive
($28 per year, yes, per year for the basic plan), but has had "slow"
site issues. Very inexpensive for some personal use, with lots of bells
and whistles (blogs, forums, fantastico, etc.).
http://www.goodtimez.net/ is one of them. Good technical support response.

I have had some bad hosts in the past. Such as www.aprilhost.com (I
noted that they are down again, just now). And a lack of response from
both Yahoo and Geocities payed plans technical support. Very annoying
to have techical support issues that do not get a response for 3-7 days.

Regards, Pete
