Hi Everybody!
Last night I smelled a nasty burned smell when I unpacked my "new" notebook
that I had not smelled before. When I started it up the built-in nic wouldn't
connect. I put an old nic card in the pcmcia slot and that didn't work
either.
Now I have that same pcmcia nic in my old notebook where it works fine. I
wonder if my new notebook is toast? Works otherwise, just can't connect.
Grumble. Maybe I have to do some kind of setup for the nic card?
