If I'm not mistaken, the C3 chips have a _very_ low on-chip cache. I
have a Via C3 on my main desktop. Speed is rated at 800MHz, and I can't
speak to whether it's faster or slower than other machines. For the kind
of things I do, I haven't noticed a problem. But then again, I work at
the console mostly.
