the drive is ata, boards got sata headers for upgradeability later.

i picked the vid card for its *nix compatibility, no real preference
between nVidia or ATI, i personally use 3DLabs products.

as usual i forgot the floppy drive, $19.99 for a regualr drive or
$39.99 for a 7-in-1 drive.

id suggest the regular drive unless you use flash cards alot.
