I did the same in -95 with Slack and it ran for a year. We had to move it so
it got unplugged. It's not normal that dozens of apps kills it within a few
minutes. If it's that typical to images it sounds like some bad image
library. I'm not sure if my CD library has that version, but I can build on a
separate box and see if it crashes me too. It just have to wait as I'm too
busy right now.
