I don't know, but I've seen this on my wife's machine as well. I've
coded some internal websites for company use, and while they look okay
on my machine, the print is *way* bigger on hers. Default resolution on
both machines is the same. Both are Debian, though mine is a little newer.

If you find a reason, I'd love to know about it.
