Fortunately for us, US courts have so far ruled that it is fair use to
make a derivative copy of the DVD with the excess crap stripped out.
Although this was only pushed through because of the "Think of the
Children!" coalitions and their demanding to be able to, e.g. strip
the word "ass" out of Shrek. Or the sex scene out of Matrix Reloaded.
