An interesting coincident - I'm sure a lot of you read the article on /. where
a number of well known Canadian musicians like Bare Naked Ladies, Avril
Lavigne, Sarah McLachlin, to mention a few, have formed a new copyright
coalition. In a press release they say they oppose filesharing lawsuits, DRM
and DMCA style legislation. They also want record labels stop saying they
represent the artists views.
