Hello Sluggers
Trying to burn a movie that I ripped and rebuilt with dvdauthor to a DVD +R
disk. The file size is reported to be 4.5 gig which should easily fit.
growisofs complains with the following:
INFO: UTF-8 character encoding detected by locale settings.
Assuming UTF-8 encoded filenames on source filesystem,
use -input-charset to override.
:-( /dev/dvdrecorder: 2295104 blocks are free, 2383008 to be written
:-( write failed: No space left on device

How does one determine gigs to blocks?? Are some media manufacturers
incorrect with the stated capacity?
