It's the easiest and most suited desktop to beginners. By far Novell has
pulled out all stops on making this a success with newbies. I hate not having
server s/w available to install on top of their desktop (via their install
software option).

I ran with SLED 10 RC3 for a while and it was pretty and worked just as it was
supposed to. Great idea with menu's. For a power user gnome is always falling
short, at least in my eyes, though there's obviously a lot of good things
about it.

It's clearly a gnome distro. Good for corporate types. Easy to mass install
and maintain users. As one could expect from a company like Novell.
