Well, I still have not been able to come up with a good fix for the automount
of the CF cards and other removable storage devices (CD and DVD's excep-
ted), and I have also found that I no longer have audio, all on my laptop.

Interesting thing is that the desktop machine I upgraded works great, yes the
update part and YaST are as many people seem to point out, 'ssllooww' but
beyond that the desktop works just fine, CF disk, SD cards, and other USB
storage automounts just fine, audio works just fine. What is even more inter-
esting is that during the upgrade process, the machine lost power, I thought
it was really going to be a mess (it was during that part where they indicate
you should not stop the process) indeed it worked quite well, picked up where
the power loss had left it, and finished the job, it even handled the
ndiswrapper
thing nicely, I can see environmental data that was not being passed from
the wifi card to the tools due to ndiswrapper, now it works real nice.

So should I continue to battle with the laptop, or should I back my data up
again and wipe it and try a new 10.1 install or should I back off to 10.0
which really worked real well on the laptop with a minimum of issues. If I
can get 10.1 running there are some nice things that it has that I do not
see on 10.0.

In general given the response of two different machines I am really sort
of let down after doing installs using 10.0 not only in my home but at my
work place and at friends homes. I am not sure after these problems that
I would recommend 10.1, I sure hope that they clear these issues up prior
to 10.2.
