Yes, I had obtained audio just before you sent me the note, I was running
something called 'baudline' and I saw a output audio control on it, I knew
that it was hearing the audio I had on the machine it was just not getting
to the speakers, when I ran the audio out control up on baudline I knew
that something was not set correctly elsewhere because I was hearing the
audio file I was trying to listen to. The only thing was that as soon as I
killed baudline the audio went away, when I did the alsaconf command
that appeared to clear it up as I now have audio on everything. Funny the
desktop again has had no problem with this one, it plays audio just fine.
