Never been a fan of the phone adapters/routers, have always used Asterisk or
Asterisk @Home aka Trixbox.
 But most providers provide a Linksys PAP2.

Broadvoice sucks, they use to be good a long time ago and then had issues
with support and quality of service.

I like Axvoice.com , at the same time you might want to check out rnk
telecom, who provides alot of voip providers there service.

I also use quantumvoice.com for a residental 1800 number.
