I resized a NTFS partition on my laptop. The HD is a 50G HD, I had it
split 27G for XP and 23G for Linux. I resized the NTFS partition to 17G
and now want to use the free space for Linux, but I can not access it.
I can see it but can do nothing with it. Am I going to have to remove the
NTFS partition and then free the whole thing up then create two extended
partitions? I was able to move the FAT down to be just above the NTFS
But can not get to the free space (I am using qtpartd)
The original format was
hda1 = 27G NTFS
hda2= 2G FAT
hda3=swap
hda4=extended
hda5-10 under hda4
Now I have it as follows:
hda1 = 17G NTFS
hda2= 2G FAT
hda-1=9G free space
hda3=swap
hda4=extended
hda5-10 under hda4
