I'm sorry if I'm saying something already covered in the thread as I did not
follow it too closely, more or less expecting it to be solved by now.

I've had that happen before and what I did was a combination of will power and
magic! Hehe, just kidding. What I did was change the timezone file. Even
though it had been right before.

After that I noticed it still going the wrong way and I would set it close to
real time manually, and after a couple of times it became correct. Not very
scientific I admit, but I did not bother doing more research once it started
going right again. YMMV.
