   You can not "copy" some directories that are filled other than files
such as /proc and /dev that is filled with so many symbolic links,
but you can use dd to duplicate a disk, but if the two are NOT the very
same size somebody looses.
   Slackware has never been a burden to install, something like 45 minutes
for everything as I recall.
