Years ago I serviced copiers. A few feed problems I found was humidity, static electricity, dust, and paper quality. All paper is cut with a shear. No matter how sharp the shear is, there is some degree of feather on the edge. Fanning the paper and flipping it over to the other side can sometimes solve paper feed problems. Sometimes toner dust got impacted into the pores of rubber feed rollers causing them to be slick and lose grip on paper. Cleaning with alcohol was a temp fix when replacement rollers where not on hand. Just a few tips that you may pass on in your customer support efforts.
