Gee, I don't know if I'd commute 50 miles for *anything*. (Except maybe
the Angelina Jolie Linux SIG. ;-)

There are two objectives for any meeting: 1) to help you by answering
your questions and such, and 2) to provide a venue for socializing with
people who are also interested in Linux and free/Open Source software.
Beyond that, if there's a talk at the meeting, then the other objective
would be to inform you on that particular area.

As a group, we have three objectives: 1) To advocate for Linux and FOSS
use in the community. 2) To act as a clearinghouse or vehicle for
Linux/FOSS knowledge and assistance. 3) To provide a way for people in
the Linux/FOSS community to get together and socialize with people who
share similar interests.
