No, it's not FOSS or Open Source, but Rhino is a fantastic world-class CAD
package. The producer (Robert McNeel and Associates) seems to be probing to
see if there is an interest in a Linux version. For designers like me, this
type of tool is one of the last reasons I've had to keep a few Windows boxes
around. McNeel has a Mac port in beta, so a Linux version might not be too
hard.

No, it's not free, but compared to the $4,000 to $10,000 price tag of most
CAD packages, Rhino's $995 price is rather reasonable.
