I would love to see more presentations at meetings and those all sound like
interesting topics. While there aren't a great deal of topics of which I
feel I have an in-depth understanding, I am willing to present (in Tampa)
introductions to any of the things that I have played with in the past:

Wine - Since this subject came up recently on the list, I thought it may be
worth exploring at a SLUG meeting this method in which to run Windows
software in Linux.

Multiseat X - While many know that X is capable of managing more than one
monitor to provide additional desktop real estate, X is also able to handle
(after a little coaxing) multiple monitors with multiple input devices
allowing more than one person to use one computer at the same time. This
feature of X allows for much more efficient and economic use of hardware.

FUSE - This is a fairly new project that allows filesystems to be mounted
with a user space application instead of within the kernel itself. If the
filesystem driver acts up or a resource becomes unavailable, the process can
be killed without locking up the system. One FUSE module that I use quite a
bit is sshfs. It allows ssh servers to be mounted and accessed transparently
by any application.

QEMU - A virtual machine that enables you to run one or more guest operating
systems within your host OS. This enables one to do such things as run
Windows within Linux or test a bootable CD/DVD image without the need to
burn it to physical media.

If any of these topics are of interest to the group, let me know. I am only
able to present at Tampa meetings at this time.
