Thanks for the hints. I found http://www.ideastorm.com/article/show/63982
which goes along with my experiences. I also found that the Dell Latitude
D630 has one. (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=481651 indicates it
is iffy with Ubuntu, however.) Dell calls them "keyboard nipples" IIRC.
