It would seem that Adobe want to become platform neutral for AIR apps. But
if they expand the AIR platform, might we see Photoshop, Illustrator and
other Adobe apps move to AIR, thus being available on Linux?

Imagine the position this puts on Microsoft and Apple. Since Adobe has the
source available for Linux, they could contribute code to insure that AIR
apps run at native (or near native) speed. So MS and Apple are forced to
keep AIR apps fast, or risk migration to Linux. This could get interesting.
