There are items called Wireless bridges, or Game bridges that have
ethernet and power connections and connect to 802.11 b/g. I actually
used one to connect a network printer were it wasn't practical to drop a
cable. I connected it to my laptop, set it up, then moved it over the
printer, hooked up the cable and was printing to it right after setting
up the driver on the PCs.
