I have an old Intellinet router that they describe as multifunction,
because it will do regular routing, single bridging, multi-bridging and
wireless extension. I know with the bridging mode on it, you assign it
an two manual IPs, one on the WLAN side, and one on the device side,
both inside the LAN subnet.
