I replied to this thread with some links, did anyone get it? I've sent
messages before and they did not appear to go through... any ideas Paul?

If you go to the documentation part of the Debian page, look for the
"new maintainers' guide" and "Debian developer's manual". These should
teach you how to get source code into Debian-based packages.
