Hi Sluggers,

Thanks to all who posted and tried to help, Problem is solved.
Went out and bought a GeForce 8400 and installed it. The old monitor comes
right up now and the new monitor works perfectly. Strange. Now I gotta go
find the proper Nvidia driver for that card.
