Folks,
Just in case you run into the same thing, I figured out what was going on
at least I think so, and I have the whole Firefox Java/PDF/ some other apps
running as it should be. The big one was Java, SuSE appears to like some-
thing called IcedTea, but this piece of crap does not appear to work, I went
at it from every direction (it comes installed when you install FireFox from
the SuSE repositories. So after cleaning FF off of the machine and doing a
clean install I removed the IcedTea stuff, and then I went in and built a sym
link to where the java plugin was, that took care of that one, I also now that
I had a clean install went in and made sure that my pdf pointer was set right,
same goes for all of the usual audio and video stuff.
All my stuff is running as it should be. No more IcedTea, never liked it any
how always taste like stump water to me...
