Yeah, I know, but I had to mention it.

Typically, when I get a power supply like that, I buy another and
install it. Then I take the old one apart. Sometimes, everything is
soldered in, and I don't want to mess with it. But mostly, the fan is
plugged into the power supply motherboard, and if I have a comparable
fan, I'll replace it. Then I stick the old (now repaired) power supply
on the shelf in case I need a quick backup. But then, I'm kinda handy. I
wouldn't recommend that procedure for everyone.
