Hi Eben,

I installed lm-sensors with Synaptic. However, I can't figure out how to
run it, or even find it on the system. There is a nice man page written
in geek.

OK, there is a sensors-detect script, ends up with:

I will now generate the commands needed to load the required modules.
Just press ENTER to continue:

To load everything that is needed, add this to /etc/modules:

#----cut here----
# I2C adapter drivers
i2c-i801
# Chip drivers
lm85
# no driver for Nat. Semi. PC87372 Super IO Fan Sensors yet
#----cut here----

Do you want to add these lines automatically? (yes/NO)

The default is NO so I didn't do it. Now I should know how to edit
/etc/modules but I don't :-)
