Not a floppy, unless you have a SCSI floppy, but then it might not be called
floppy0.

Errors indicate bad disk to me, but you should try formatting it and see
what you get. There's two steps -- fdformat (low-level format) and then
mkfs. If you're a real wiz (and/or the a floppy costs more than the time to
figure it out) I think there's a way to map out bad blocks.
