I've always been a fan of the Apple G4 Cube... although with a
standard harddrive they're not completely silent.

You could throw in a SSD and accomplish virtual silence with them,
though, as they're fanless.

Plus, well, they're incredibly aesthetically pleasing IMHO. :)
