I vote for the "get nasty" option. Also, I've worked for Office Depot in
the past and I'll never do business with them. They are never the cheapest
and their policies really suck.

As far as the price goes, you paid more than HP charges on their own
overpriced online store.

For driver support, it does appear to be supported as it's on this list.

Make sure you have the appropriate sane apps/libs/whatever installed and I
think that site should be able to help you get it going. I'd be more
helpful, but I've only needed a scanner once in the past 2 years or so.
