Hi all:
The question doesn't contain any limits.
I bought a ISA (legacy) Digital Research sound card at
Best Buy for $20 + tax
Once I found the driver it works fine.
Crystal and a CTXXX number chip & circuit board, the number
didn't match the correct LINUX sound driver (module).
I bought a `SB live value' locally for $60 W/O a spdif
connector, (because it was white boxed) which I was
counting on. Sounds good, driver is still in development
some day it will be great in spite of CL.
I moved the D.R. ISA card to my niece's confusor to `up
grade' her and the mic connection was dead, I put it my
LINUX box and guess what, the mic connector/amp ?? is dead.
I will use it some day as a wav recorder on an old slow box
with line input (and playback) only.

I upgraded to LINUX, the more I use it, the more I love it.
It doesn't do everything for you, you must program it.
