Actually, I wasn't thinking straight. He's right, the converter is
just dumb wires.

What I should have said, "is your CF 3.3V or 5V?" PCMCIA only does
5V whereas CardBus usually does both 3.3V or 5V (although some
CardBus adapters are 3.3V only).
