RE: [SLUG] Debian Library Problem

Thanks to Glen (for the idea) and Bill Triplett (for the file), my Debian
box is back up in running using a statically-linked bash executable. I was
able to re-install the broken packages, then revert back to the dynamically
linked /bin/bash. Apparently, Debian is still afflicted with a lot of
bash-isms.
