[SLUG] mbr mistake

Hey Guys and Gals,

I've made a stupid mistake by installing the MBR on the Windows drive
(/dev/hda), rather than the Linux drive (/dev/hdd). I wasn't paying too much
attention to this, unfortunately (see where inexperience can lead you? :-),
and now I can't boot off my hard drive, unless I boot from floppy, and then I
can only get into Linux (darn! ;-)...obviously I need to spend more time
reading about this stuff, but in the mean time, I wonder if, because I
installed the mbr on the wrong drive if I'll ever get Windows back.

(Just so everyone knows, the main reason I want the Windows is I've never had
the <ahem!> pleasure of dealing with it on a regular basis...I just like the
technology aspect (or lack thereof, considering its origin) of having
experience with yet another OS. I hold in some esteem people who have talked
about computers and such from times before I was born, and hopefully one day
I can tell some young kid, "Yeah, I remember that old dinosaur! It's been out
of existence for a long time now.")

Russell
