I bet it's that whole "LILO" thing that I'm trying to figure out in another
thread. I bet if you run the LILO command, you should be booting into the
kernel you want.

BTW, I always stay away from Debian's kernel-source, because it's hard for me
to understand, and because it's just easier to deal with building my own
kernel anyhow.
