Hi Mike,
The good news is that all that hardware looks like stuff that should
work just fine under Linux. The bad news is that all that hardware
looks like stuff that should work just fine under Linux...

The only thing that looks iffy is I know there have been problems with
Western Digital drives in the past.

I would seriously consider possibly flaky CPU or memory. Try digging up
a copy of memtest86 and running it overnight and see if it turns
anything up.

Unfortunately, I don't see anything blatant that could be causing the
problems.
