Well,
I see ups and downs in this. Competition is good and this would certainly
make a good competitor. However, most AOL users are dumb as rocks and Linux
would probably cause their little heads to spin. Even the article noted this:

So, I can see it now, Redhat with a fully intergrated AOL client that will be
too hard for the average user to install and too annoying for a techie to
use. I can hear it now "You've got Linux!"
