I was looking at the case last night and wondering what this aluminum box
was that sits behind the front fans. It looks like it's support to direct
the airflow or something.

Then I read a review posted on bluesnews.com of the PC-60 case (same as
PC-65, but without the fancy window on the side) and found out what this
thing's for...

It's a 3.5" drive bay where you mount hard drives vertically (turn your HD
90-degrees along its long axis as it sits in a traditional 3.5" drive bay)
so they sit directly in the airflow to keep cool.

Holy smokes this thing rocks.
