I agree with Paul, don't forget MS still controls about 90% of the
desktops, that's a large percentage to ignore. But if you did offer a
good store with Linux support and advertise that your computers are
cheaper w/o the MS tax then it might fly. Also offering classes for
people at your store might help.
As for me I buy most of my supplies on line, all I wasn't is the
cheapest price

I think it would be better to start a computer shop for sales and
service
that *supports* Linux, rather than is centered around it. That's what's
missing out there. This way you get all the regular PC business to keep
things happy plus you get the Linux folks who have nowhere else to turn
to.
Don't think for a second that you're going to be able to run a shop by
only supporting Linux. There just isn't that much money in it.
That's my opinion, anyway.
