Most distro's come with 6 text login's and 1 graphical login screen. You
switch between them with <ctr>-<alt>-<F#>. You can get an additional
GUI login in your F8 by manually

X -query hostname :1

It's not too much of trick to get additional graphical login's to come
up by default.
